The IBM PureApplication Services team helps clients efficiently deliver their critical business applications in the cloud using PureApplication technology. We accelerate clients' adoption of IBM software and cloud-enabling and delivery platforms so they can quickly realize the value of using these technologies.
PureApplication consultants are responsible for performing the following:
Deliver consulting services that help clients build and deploy their applications using IBM software and cloud platforms:
- Assess clients' business operations and technical capabilities and advise them on proper design and planning approaches that will help them achieve their business objectives
- Design, build, and deploy PureApplication platforms that support clients' applications
- Migrate applications onto PureApplication
- Assist clients in managing their PureApplication platforms and applications
Develop new processes, assets, and techniques to accelerate delivery of high quality services and to provide a best-in-class experience for our clients
Assist in growing a new services business
The consultant will work for customers across Europe, through short and long term assignment. Fluency in English is needed.
Desirable candidates will have strong skills and relevant experience in some of the following:
Expertise in one or more products from the IBM software portfolio
Working knowledge of any of IBM's cloud enabling and delivery platforms, e.g. PureApplication (System, Software, Service), BlueMix, SoftLayer, etc.
Working knowledge of other non-IBM and open source based cloud platforms
Developing and/or managing 'as-a-service' offerings
Designing/implementing cloud applications/systems and their supporting processes and operations
Migrating applications to cloud platforms
Cloud-to-cloud integration
Fluency in any of the following scripting languages: Python, Jython, Unix shell scripting
Business process and operational analysis and design
Experience with working directly with customer
Requirements:
German and/or Russian: Fluent (desired)
