Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for design/architecture, development, implementation, testing and maintenance ofweb-based applications
- Work with Product Designer and Product Manager to develop applications according to the defined specifications
- Implement new features and maintain existing codebase
- Follow coding standards and best practices
- Ensure quality, clean, tested code is produced (unit, integration, and other QA tests)
- Create, maintain, and own code and application documentation
- Assist the team in debugging and troubleshooting software defects
- Mentor junior-level developers
- Help create team and development processes and selection of tools to assist in these efforts
- Will develop and maintain a solid understanding of the technical architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in developing applications in PHP5 (at least 5 years)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common JS libraries
- Practical use of SOLID programming principles
- Practical knowledge of Symfony2 framework
- 3 or more years of competitive web development experience and working in scrum/agileenvironment
- Demonstrated ability to work well with business analysts, programmers and end users in a crossfunctional team
- Good Knowledge of Content Management Systems
- Highly developed communications skills and impeccable written communication skills, a teamplayer with entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, under tight deadlines
