We are looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer to swell an ambitious team’s ranks and create Big Data solutions for one of the widely-known banks in the world.
Salary: 20 - 22k PLN gross / 120-140 PLN h net
permanent contract / B2B
Industry: finance – credit risk calculation
Recruitment process include 3 steps: HR interview, technical interview, interview with the client (all remotely).
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing solutions in Java and Scala as well as Big Data technologies
- Designing, developing and deploying data-driven software
- Implementing Hadoop solutions around high volume enterprise applications
- Recommending ways to improve data quality, reliability and efficiency
- Collaborating with the client
Technical stack: Java 8, Scala, Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Avro.
Skills:
- over 5-year experience in Java environment
- good hacking skills in Scala
- experience with Hadoop ecosystem and Apache’s tools (especially Spark)
- hands-on experience with both relational- and non-relational databases
- proficiency in English
- team player
- agile mindset
