Responsibilities & requirements
Software Developer is a team member of a scrum based software solution team. This is a challenging position where a software developer’s tasks and responsibilities consist of developing and implementing high quality software. The person is involved in the whole process from requirement specifications over design and implementation to final test and documentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop agreed solutions
- Conduct code reviews with colleagues
- Execute tests and reports according to established processes
- Work close with other team members to ensure team deliverables
- Work within a scrum process and execute planning together with a team
- Review and provide input to requirements
- Stay updated on new development trends and technologies
- Ensure guidelines, standards and practices
Professional competencies
- MSc level within software engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- C#/.NET developer with solid programming experience
- Broad knowledge about Microsoft technologies/products like LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, Azure
- Experience with Design and Architectural patterns (PRISM)
- Understanding of the software lifecycle processes and strive to ensure constant care for architecture, code base, test and documentation
- Experienced in agile methodologies (SCRUM) as your daily development process
- Passion, self-driven personality, courage to challenge existing solutions, inquisitiveness
- Quality focus and thoroughness in general
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
