FRONT-END SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (JavaScript Engineer)

We are seeking an aspiring WEB DEVELOPER with a self-starter attitude that is proficient in creating front-end UI and has familiarity with developing server-side code. This role involves designing new prototypes and mockups and making it come to life using a front-end MVC. You will also be working with the operations, services, and design team to implement new features as they come along. ExpressPlay is the leading cloud DRM (Digital Rights Management) service for video, audio, and eBooks using the Marlin DRM open standard as well as Microsoft's PlayReady, Google's Widevine and Apple's FairPlay technologies. Responsibilities:
Requirements gathering, designing, coding, debugging, performance analysis, packaging, and deployment.
Implementing new front-end product features using JavaScript, and backend APIs using Python and Java.
Collaborate deeply with a cross-functional team of Engineers of all types, QA, and Operations.

Required skills:
Proficient in Javascript, HTML, and CSS
Experience in SASS and SCSS
Experience with at least one Javascript framework. Preferably AngularJS or React
Must have a github account or personal website to showcase work
Has a knack for design
Experience with developing enterprise level applications
Familiarity with the whole web stack, including databases, protocols and web server optimization techniques

Preferred Skills:
Experience with creating interactive complex data visualizations/dashboards
Strong functional programming skills
Experience with server-side code (Nodejs, Java, Python) to create RESTful APIs
