IBM Security is a pioneer and world leader in software and services that protect corporate and personal information from an ever-changing spectrum of online threats and misuse. IBM Security core operations are performed in Security Operations Centers (SOC) located in 10 locations around the Globe. SOC Poland is 2nd largest center covering globally all MSS operations.
Successful candidate will join highly motivated team, working with peers in agile software development methodology and within truly multicultural, global team. Person on this position will be responsible for developing enterprise class application in Java and JavaScript which spans n-tier layered application stack, big data solutions, cognitive solutions and modern browser based applications. For experienced candidates there are also opportunities to take leadership positions like scrum master or technical lead.
Responsibilities:
Develop front-end applications
Develop back-end portions of web services
Create and talk to REST services
Ability to shift between multiple projects and technologies
Writing clean code and testing it throughout the development process to ensure the quality is up to standards
Working on software that is used by millions of people all around the world is a challenge you're willing to take on
Required skills:
Fluency in written and spoken English
Excellent knowledge of Java and JavaScript (both browser and NodeJS environments)
Good knowledge of SQL
Three years or more of professional experience
Good communication skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies
Preferred skills:
Skills in Jira, GitLab, Cucumber, ReactJS, Redux, JSP, ExtJS, Spring, Hibernate
Knowledge of MySQL
Experience in Agile, SCRUM
Operating systems: Mac OSX, Linux, shell and batch scripts, virtualization technologies
Experience in leading teams, especially in international environment
