with front-end skills

Wymagania

Key duties:
  • Building reusable, high-quality code and libraries for future use
  • Designing, developing, testing, and debugging web applications
  • Building modular code which has a clear separation of responsibility
  • Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability if needed
  • Performing assigned tasks using established methods and procedures
  • Working to keep informed on the latest trends, technologies and best practices in software development
  • Maintaining/updating production related documentation
Skills and previous experience:

  • Min 3 years experience in backend development
  • Proficient knowledge of Ruby 2.x programming language and RoR 4.x & 5.x framework
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programing, Software Design Patterns, distributed systems architecture, secure development practices and systems integration
  • Good understanding of TDD/BDD and it's benefits to be able to code with and without it while keeping the code quality high
  • Experience in working with SQL/noSQL databases
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience in working with microframeworks like Sinatra
  • Experience in working with different Ruby implementations e.g. JRuby
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript ES6/CoffeeScript (any of: Ember, Angular, React, Backbone, jQuery), HTML5, and CSS3
  • Any experience with dev-ops technologies are considered as a plus
  • Any experience with functional languages (e.g elixir)
