Responsibilities:

performs hands-on design and development work, technical decision making and production systems maintenance,
actively participates in production system troubleshooting, performance tuning and problem solving with other systems teams,
collaborates with architecture teams and other development teams within the enterprise for evaluating, incorporating and evolving new technology, frameworks, products and solutions-- to solve business problems for our internal and external clients,
supports the systems and business teams for estimates, analysis, design, development, performance tuning, testing and providing subject matter expertise in technology maters,
developing application functionality which meets business requirements with high quality within given deadlines,
developing maintainable, well-documented application functionality with an eye toward standardization, common components, simplicity, performance, robustness and other attributes of enterprise-strength solutions,
takes ownership of the issues and tasks at hand. Works with peers and drives with dedication and diligence to produce quality results,
develops unit test plans that will thoroughly exercise program logic to ensure program/application performance with regard to business requirements.

Qualification:

BA/BS Computer Science or Information Systems degree and/or equivalent work experience,
3+ years application development experience,
extensive technical experience,
the individual should have strong analysis, design, development, unit testing and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment,
minimum of 3+ years Java development experience. Strong Java / J2EE knowledge. Candidate has to be proficient in the language, core libraries and design patterns,
knowledge in developing applications using J2EE technologies including JMS, JDBC, JNDI, Hibernate, Web Services, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, XLST, DHTML, CSS, FTP, JQuery,
knowledge in at least one JEE Application Server - WebSphere is preferred,
AngularJS experience is desired,
Oracle skills for data modeling, optimization and SQL programming is preferred,
experience in JEE frameworks (Spring, JSF, Hibernate etc.) is preferred.
