Responsible for architecting components of the global big data enterprise application.
Establish and implement an architectural roadmap and technology standard for our big data platform.
Provide technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
Software development of new applications in high volume environments and integrations with existing backend systems.
Help to identify, implement and improve system architecture with input into design and functionality.
Manage a team of developers in a hands on approach leading by example.
A flexible approach, passion for usability and performance with attention to detail.
Have at least 5-8 years' experience as a developer in a comparable role.
Ambitious, hardworking and enthusiastic.
Good communication and organisational skills also required.
Be fluent in English (spoken and written).
Practical experience of data augmentation and data modeling.
Hadoop and Map Reduce
Pig, Hive, Scoop
Developing high volume distributed systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
MS SQL Server
Practical Agile experience
