Java Developer

Enterprise Organisation in Dublin City is currently looking for Java Developers (Senior position also available), with experience developing either/both mobile (iOS & Android) or large-purpose-built Web applications through the use of the Java suite of technologies. The company is undertaking a huge portfolio of work to improve their online presence & capabilities by introducing leading-edge technologies, processes & skilled IT professionals.

Your work environment would be:

This role will give you great exposure in web/online development, allowing you to utilise your development skills by being part of a number of these major innovative ecommerce projects. These projects will give you the opportunity to work and develop mobile applications that will be used by millions worldwide & generating millions in revenue every year.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.

• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.

• Prepare and produce releases of software components.

• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Essential skills for this role:

• Ideally you will have experience in all or most of: Java, J2EE, UI/UX, AngularJS, JQuery, MVC, SpringStrong end-to-end Java Development experience (front & back-end)

• Experience developing mobile applications

• Strong experience & understanding of the software development lifecycle


It would be nice to have:

• Experience working in an Agile development environment would be beneficial
