• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3 years+ of industry experience in IT network/systems administration
Extensive knowledge and expertise in:
• Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop,
• Exchange/Office 365/Google Apps,
• Active Directory, SQL Server, Remote Desktop Services, SharePoint,
• virtualized systems (VMWare/Hyper-V Servers)
• cloud services (Azure/AWS)
• security and network monitoring: Enterprise Antivirus/Antispam, backup technologies, redundant systems, disaster recovery implementation/failover experience and network monitoring applications.
• networking technologies: firewalls/routers/switches/WAPs, HA, VLANs, STP, routing protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF, VPNs, IPS, and web filtering,
• implementing and managing LANs/WANs (ISP circuits, wireless network security using 802.1x and WPA2) • knowledge of Voice over IP systems and concepts
• Hands-on experience with implementing QoS and troubleshooting voice network quality issues such as jitter and latency

• Strong oral and written communication skills, working face-to-face and on-site with clients• Ability to handle all matters in a confidential manner
• good problem-solving, time management, interpersonal skills, focused, flexible
• Competence in at least one programming language
• demonstrated ability to automate system administration tasks
Experience with:
• Database, web programming, scripting experience (Microsoft Access, VBA, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, PHP, Perl, VBS).
• Web Server Administration.
• Microsoft, Cisco, Networking and Security certifications.
• Document management solution experience.
• Linux, Solaris and OS X server competence.
