Google Cloud Engineer

As a member of the Google Cloud team you will be building upon the managed services, APIs and expertise of Google Cloud Platform . You will be working alongside 1 development and infrastructure teams to design, deliver, automate and operate the platform which hosts our business critical applications.

About the role:
● working closely with architects on architecture design
● support and enhance Ocado's business cloud environments
● troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for managed software and aid in
integrating with Google Cloud Platform
● help platform clients with tailoring their cloud solutions, removing process bottlenecks
and optimising recurring tasks
● act as a liaison with solution providers on technical issues and updates
● provide necessary tools for L1&L2 support teams
● interact and communicate with all parties in the organization Qualifications
● programing skills required (Java or/and Python)
● strong drive towards process automation
● familiar with virtualization technologies and multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud
environments
● ability to lead and contribute to the development, maintenance, and usage of
deployment and task automation (OS, database services, virtual networks and other
platform services),
● strong analytical and problem solving skills
● the ability to remain calm under pressure
● excellent verbal and written communication skills
