UBS - Praca - Java Developer (Investment Funds)

As a Java Developer you will be developing the Client Reporting & Price Publication applications. You will join the team that is responsible for customer care, requirements management, change coordination, functional and technical analysis, integration of vendor software and development of customized software, test management and execution as well as 3rd level application support. The role is located in the UBS office in Krakow (Green Office).

Wymagania

Responsibilities: • Analyzing user requirements and creating formal specifications
• Developing new applications and adapting existing ones
• Planning and executing technical unit and regression testing (white box testing)
• Preparing formal documentation according to internal standards and industry best practice
• Providing 3rd level production for supported applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience
• Experience with Java/J2EE, web development, Relational Databases (Oracle or SQL Server) and Unix
• Very good written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Strong expertise in technology and systems integration
• High attention to detail and ability to test own work
• Capable of completing development work with minimal supervision
• Proven analytical and problem solving abilities

Additional assets:

• Experience in banking/finance industry
• Knowledge of Perl and/or Unix shell scripts
• Knowledge of technologies like SVN, Maven, GIT, Jenkins, Nexus
