Please note this position is based in Kraków, but is remote (you can work from home, a co-working centre, or wherever you work best!). Working hours are flexible, however we'd like you to be available from 10AM to 6PM CET, Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call periods.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Take layered PSDs and develop them into fast, flexible and robust websites that perform smoothly across all platforms
Occasionally develop HTML5 banner ads from PSD's
Work in collaboration with both Canada and Europe-based designers, project managers and QA specialists to deliver projects
Clearly and concisely communicate highly technical challenges and solutions to non-technical team members and clients
Test and retest everything to ensure cross-device and cross-browser compatibility (including IE)
Have a superior attention to detail and a strong ability to Q/A your own work
You are reliable, and dedicated to what you do
You have knowledge of W3C-Valid HTML5, CSS3, and JS
You are familiar with a front-end framework such as Bootstrap or Foundation, or are learning to be so
You are familiar with cross-browser and cross-platform development, and you always ensure your code works across all
You are knowledgeable of the techniques and best practices of responsive web development
You have strong written and spoken English, and great interpersonal communication skills
You are obsessed with details, which means making sure both design and code look great and work perfectly
You know how to have fun!
