Python Developer - Dublin

We are looking for an experienced Software (Python) Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have excellent design and programming skills with a good understanding of how to use them to deliver quality user-friendly Software. R&D in new areas of technology will often be required, so a keen interest in constantly adapting and developing your skill set will be very important.
Our preference is for someone who has worked in an Agile environment within a fast-paced development schedule.

Requirements:
· Fluency in English - both verbal and written is essential
· 5+ years professional development experience
· Python proficiency is essential
· Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
· Proven experience using and developing for MySQL and LINUX
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced development schedule Beneficial Experience:

· Redis or other modern non-relational data storage systems
· Modern relational database systems. E.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL
· Creating RESTful APIs
· Experience using RESTful (JSON & XML) / SOAP APIs
· Testing. Especially unit testing, test-driven development and behaviour-driven development
· Modern Python web frameworks. E.g. Flask, Django
· Python object-relational mapping libraries. E.g. storm, sqlalchemy
· Agile software development

Education & Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
