Security Engineer - Secure Messaging and Communication

Within IT Security (Authentication & Crypto) the Secure Communications team is responsible for the delivery of a secure eMail solution for internal and external communication, based on Totemo's totemomail product. The solution is live in production. Your role involves working with both technical and business stakeholders and you must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
IT Security is establishing CoE in Poland therefore your role will be located in in the UBS office in Zabierzow or Wroclaw.

Wymagania

Responsibilities:
• Timely preparation and handover of Security IT solution designs and documentation
• Ensuring UBS application deployment and configuration management standards are fulfilled in the respective application systems
• Integrating 3rd party software into the bank (off the shelf or on behalf UBS development)
• Ensuring standardization according to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) definitions and other UBS standards
• Ensuring high quality and timely and cost-effective preparation of software deployment to development, test and production environments
• Collecting and delivering a system engineering effort estimate on request for projects
within the bank
• Preparing of technical work instructions for Production Implementation
• Acting as Level 3 Support (Escalation point for Level 2 Support Organisation in case of incidents)
• Maintaining documentation relevant to operations (operation manual, installation guide, etc.)
• Providing technical recommendation & guidance to business and technical stakeholders and to IT Security Project Managers whilst being compliant with UBS standards and operational guidelines Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of it security experience
• A solid understanding of information security in general
• Good knowledge of PKI, authentication, and encryption technologies – particularly S/MIME, PGP
• A solid understanding of Java-based Application and Web Servers (e.g., Tomcat)• Good understanding of all aspects of IT Security and experience in IT security implementations
• Unix administration & support (Solaris / Linux), as well as programming skills for Linux/Solaris platforms
• Strong knowledge of email servers, particularly Microsoft Exchange
• Good understanding of all aspects of IT Security and experience in IT security implementations

Additional asset:
• Experience in configuration and management secure mail gateway software (e.g., Totemo's totemomail, EchoWorx Encrypted Mail Gateway, Ciphermail, Sophos SafeGuard MailGateway)
