UBS - IT Security Engineer

The UBS Cyber Security team sits within Group Technology and is responsible for building and governing the firm's overall cyber security service. In this role you need to have a strong background in cyber security, with specialist experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Advanced Malware Protection, Endpoint Security, Network Security. Having a solid amount of experience with platforms like FireEye HX, Mandiant MIR and HP ArcSight under your belt, you will be comfortable with designing, engineering and deploying security technology components, preferably in large complex environments.
IT Security is establishing CoE in Poland therefore your role will be located in in the UBS office in Zabierzow or Wroclaw.

Wymagania

Responsibilities:
• Conducting application discovery and fact finding through meetings with both technical & business stakeholders
• Analysing enterprise applications and specific requirements for DRM Onboarding, assess complexity and feasibility of DRM Application Onboarding
• Determining technical implementation and Onboarding method
• Creating of solution designs leveraging specific DRM technologies and components employed within the bank, whilst being compliant with UBS standards and operational guidelines
• Performing technical validation of solution design and technical implementation through Engineering build & smoke testing
• Providing technical assistance to Test teams with preparation of Test Plan design
• Preparing of technical work instructions for Production Implementation by DRM Support teams
• Acting as a Level 3 Support (Escalation point for Level 2 Support Organisation in case of incidents)
• Acting as a partner for Business Analysts regarding requirements specification
• Preparing of solution design documentation, diagrams and technical artefacts, maintain documentation relevant to operations (operation manual, installation guide, etc.).
• Providing technical recommendation & guidance to business and technical stakeholders whilst being compliant with UBS standards and operational guidelines
• Providing technical recommendation & guidance to IT Security Project Managers Requirements:
• University Degree in a technology area, Computer Science (IT Security preferred) or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 4 years of cyber-security experience
• Solid background in IT Security with a specialization on Endpoint security (Malware protection, Anti-virus)
• Experience integrating applications into operational support tools (e.g. monitoring/alerting tools)
• Experience packaging applications for deployment onto production in frastructure
• Good understanding of all aspects of IT Security and experience in IT security implementations
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security products (FireEye, Mandiant, M cAffee, Symantec) preferred
• Knowledge of project management and SDLC preferred
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Proven record within IT Security Engineering role
• Understanding of business analysis process & use cases
• Broad technical skill-set covering desktop, application & server platform engineering

Additional asset:
• Background in Financial Services Industry preferred
• Banking experience preferred but not essential
