Hexagon's Technology Center focuses on applied research in the fields of geodesy and metrology. It drives the evaluation and introduction of new technologies for the global Hexagon group. With its headquarters located in Switzerland the Technology Center operates an Imaging Development Center (IDC) in Lodz.
To complement our IDC team we are looking for a
Expert C++ Software Engineer Your main tasks will include:
- Responsible for defining efficient and easy to maintain software architecture
- Development of computer vision software for measurement applications
- Support the innovation process by promoting new ideas and technologies
- Implement software development standards and best practices
- Take a leading role in software development, e.g. coaching junior software developers
- Apply SCRUM methodology
Wymagania
Your profile:- A relevant university qualification (MSc, PhD) in Computer Science
- At least 6 years of experience in commercial software development
- Proficient programming skills in C/C++ with experience in software optimization an advantage
- Strong background in object-oriented programming, design patterns and TDD
- Advanced mathematical skills that allow you to understand complex algorithms
- Fluent spoken and written English
