Overview:
Global Banking & Markets (GBM) is the "investment bank". Our businesses generate millions of transactions across a range of financial markets. Our IT teams design and develop modern systems, covering all aspects of transactions, and managing financial and regulatory reporting.
The team:
You will join the new Krakow-based team of 7 - Collateral IT Team, responsible for the development and support of Collateral Management Platform. The local team works closely with teams in London, Poznan and Pune.
The Platform is critical for the bank from the regulators standpoint. It allows the Collateral Operations Team to be able to optimize its usage.
The project:
Our teams are contributing to a long-term plan to replace the current monolith architecture with the microservices-based one. These are the Oracle RDBMS Operational Data Store (ODS). The user interface is being built with HTML and the MQ, File, Web Service and REST interfaces.
Key accountsabilities:
· You and your teammates are Responsible for all aspects of delivering software to your users:
on the Development
of Automating the testing and deployment of small and frequent releases
of Speaking to the product owner and business on features and Requirements
for Production availability of your service - if you build the service you own the service!
Requirements:
· Experience with back-end technologies: Microservice architecture, Java 8, Spring Boot Admin, Spring Batch, Spring Integration
· Experience with Front-end technologies: Angular 6, HTML5, CSS3
· Experiences with Test-driven development methodologies such as Junit & BDD
· Ability to solve complex problems and propose solutions
· Fluent English
