We are looking for an ambitious C++ / Go Software Engineer to join our team in Warsaw. We carry out projects in Software Defined Networking (SDN), NFV, DevOps and Cloud Computing for companies in Silicon Valley, Western Europe, Israel and Asia. Working with us, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in challenging projects.
The aim of the project we’re hiring for is to develop a platform for the automatic management of distributed network equipment from a single place. It will enable users to easily configure and monitor edge devices deployed across different geographical locations. The system implements network virtualization using SDN (Software Defined Networking) on top of a public network. It also allows users to deploy various NFVs (Network Function Virtualization).
Requirements:
- At least 4 years’ experience as a C++ Software Engineer,
- Very good knowledge of STL (Standard Template Library),
- Good knowledge of Python,
- Excellent at parallel programming,
- Knowledge of software development best practices: design patterns, continuous integration, code review, unit / functional / regression tests, Git,
- Good knowledge of Linux,
- Good working knowledge of English (B2 level).
We also welcome:
- Practical knowledge of Go (but we can teach you),
- Knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, VRF),
- Experience working with distributed systems,
- Knowledge of any of the following (which we use): MariaDB, etcd, OpenTSDB, gRPC, RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible.
