System Support Engineer
Position Summary
- This person is responsible for supporting and developing our core software system, managing all activities related to incident management, incident root cause analysis, incident resolution, problem identification and resolution.
- In this role, you’ll work on development, deployment and on-going support of our critical systems and key Products. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our production environments
- You will write code that will patch, bugfix, optimise, enhance by adding new functionalities
- You will be agile and adaptable, with the ability to think quickly and deliver. You will be working in a team of smart and talented software engineers, and will have to communicate effectively to stakeholders across the business
- You will be our primary point of contact for internal and external English speaking customers (phone, email), resolving their issues in a professional and timely manner
- You are going to work on critical, highly complex customer problems and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- You will become a key member of our team
Experience
- Strong skills and experience in PHP 5.6
- Strong skills and experience in MySQL: creating efficient queries, being able to analyse and optimise existing code
- Strong skills and experience delivering System Support role with end-to-end focus
- Excellent with debugging, creative problem solving, capable of figuring out issues’ root causes based on the combination of your knowledge and input from customers.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) – able to professionally respond to internal and external customer queries over phone, email, skype
- Very good command of English and Polish
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
- Experience in System Support Processes and best practices
- Business process understanding
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- BS or BA degree preferred
- 2+ years of relevant technical engineering experience
- 2+ years large enterprise or e-business systems support experience preferred
