About the job:
The Visual Basic 6 and .NET Developer will work on small pieces of development and modules within larger development projects. The role holder will be working with applications at our Warsaw office and for one site in the south of England.
Work location – Warszawa & Kraków; with random trips to UK site - Warszawa – preferred location
  • Good knowledge of Visual Basic 6 and its ecosystems
  • Good knowledge of .NET web framework with ecosystems
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Good Microsoft SQL Server skills including T-SQL
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks
  • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Understanding of unit testing fundamentals
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for code review to ensure quality controls are in place
  • Responsible for test plan creation based on good understanding of business processes
  • Understanding of the technical disciplines used within the team and the technologies used
  • Responsible for adherence to quality processes and right first time approach
 Technical expertise – 3 years commercial experience of Visual Basic 6 programming  Experience of developing in VB.NET and C# .NET  Good written and verbal communication skills  A proactive, flexible and self-motivated individual
