What you'll do:
- Produce skillfully crafted software in all tiers of a web application - both back-end and front-end
- Develop and improve responsive and mobile friendly web applications
- Thoughtfully analyze and clearly communicate technical recommendations
- Develop and improve secure and fast back-end code exposed by well designed APIs
- Keep up with changes and trends in the industry and implement those onto our standards
- Help develop estimates and iterative project plans with project managers and clients
- Provide and advocate for technical solutions to business problems in an understandable manner
- 1+ year of commercial experience
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (C#, Java, Ruby, Python, etc. ) and related web frameworks
- Good knowledge of modern front-end development languages (HTML 5, CSS and JavaScript) and any of frontend JS frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js etc.)
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Proven analytical, planning, and software design skills
- Familiarity with software engineering (project lifecycle, testing, deployment, security etc.)
- Ability to technically lead small (solo or 1-2 person) projects and mentor junior colleagues
- Passion for getting things done well
- A superior personal character and work ethic
- Proven English oral and written communication skills (ability to work directly with English speaking clients)
- IT-related university degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with mobile development
- Knowledge of non-relational (NoSQL) database tools or big data technologies
