Embedded Software Engineer

For our global Client based on automation industry, we are looking for Embedded SW Engineers. The project consists embedded software within network communications area.

Our Client’s embedded software needs have increased in recent years as more and more functionality is put into software. In order to expand their capacity to deliver these features, a new team will be formed in Katowice, Poland. New team members at this location will have a great opportunity to join our Client’s business and contribute to even more success in the market.

Main tasks:

ü  Development of embedded software used in network communication components;

ü  Implementation of code used in embedded systems, creating new functionalities to the system;

ü  Working with PCB prototypes;

ü  Technical leadership of a module or sub system;

ü  Team member on scrum teams as senior contributor;

ü  Participating in quality activities, code reviews, coding guidelines;

ü  Participating in cross business initiatives.

 

Requirements:

ü  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering;  Experience in real-time embedded software design using C++;

ü  Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills;

ü  Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills;

ü  Very good English skills (written and spoken);

ü  Understands Embedded Systems, RAM, ROM, PWM, I2C, UART, SPI;

ü  Knowledge of Software tools Configuration management, lint, UML;

ü  Knowledge of software lifecycle and system design.
