Senior Backend (Python) Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Backend Software Engineer to join a team of professionals working on the fastest growing product of the company: Rapid Detection and Response Service. We work in small teams, so communication and team skills inside and outside team are key assets for our international team members.

Key responsibilities in this role:

Take care of our web application backend
Cooperate with authentication and authorization team
Help to integrate new APIs
Take care of our build process and deployment pipelines
Support other team members in case of any problems with local environment
Optimizing components for maximum performance
Participate in code reviews, tests and pair-programming
Provide support of existing functionality, including maintenance, bug fixing and escalated support issues

What we expect you to have:

Experience with AWS is a must (CloudFormation, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53, etc)
Experience with Docker is a must
Very good Python knowledge
Knowledge of design patterns and best practices
Experience with NodeJS
Knowledge about REST APIs
Experience with Linux environment
Experience with Jenkins
Experience with Git
Familiarity with nginx
Knowledge about authentication and authorization
Experience with web applications
Team player attitude
Good English (the team language is English)

Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Knowledge about computer networks
Unit testing skills
Interest and knowledge about Cyber Security
Familiarity with Scrum
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
