Machine Learning Engineer (Python/R)

Position: Machine Learning Engineer
Localization: Warszawa

Main tasks will be:
• Involved in extracting, collating, performing data integrity checks, manipulating and analyzing data, developing analytical strategies for businesses using model results of predictive modelling, time series forecasting, clustering and segmentation of customers;
• Support, leading, train and mentor a team;
• Maintain documentation and present work to the client, proactively recommending and influencing changes in business decision-making.

The Candidate should have:
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• MSc degree or an advanced degree in statistics, economics and have a quantitative background;
• Capability & experience in project management and client relationship management for at least 2 years;
• High level programming ability using R/Python or SAS paired with the capability to carry out analysis of data and basic visualizations;
• Efficiency in Summarizing, Explaining and Interpreting Data, Multivariate Linear and Nonlinear Models, Experimental Design, Estimation, Hypothesis Testing, Binary Choice Models, Panel Data Models, Stationary and Nonstationary Time Series Models.
• Very good English skills (written and spoken).

It would be a plus if the Candidate had:
• Familiarity with MATLAB;
• Knowledge of SAS CI, SAS Enterprise Miner Model Manager Scoring Accelerator, and Forecast Server.
• Expertise in handling large datasets and should be familiar with models using—linear regression, time series modelling, ANOVA/ANCOVA, logistic regression, segmentation, decision tree, optimization techniques, clustering and simulation based analysis;
