Intership/Junior Java Developer

kantwert is a German start-up founded in 2014 which develops a social graph of German companies and a network of German decision makers. The information from public sources is consolidated to derive a "who-knows-who“- application which is to help companies identify valuable relations within their existing customers.

We are currently looking for a:

Internship/Junior Java Developer

on a full-time basis or part-time basis (full-time preferred) to our development center in Poznan, where we provide the opportunity for young motivated developers to work in international projects with focus on Germany.

Job requirements:

-        strong experience in Java software development ,

-        experience in using design patterns,

-        strong experience in the Spring framework and messaging systems,

-        familiarity with modern, agile development processes,

-        familiarity with data mining,

-        strong knowledge and experience in UNIX,

-        fluency in English is a must.

Nice to have:

-        experience in Cassandra DSE and neo4j,

-        knowledge of graph theory,

-        experience in WEB crawling,

-        experience in text data parsing.

You should have a degree in computer science or similar, professional work experience, a high degree of individual initiative, the ability to individual and structured working, strong analytical skills for understanding complex issues and, last but not least, the ability to challenge the status quo and proactively tackle problem areas.
