Our Client based in Warsaw is looking for Lead Java Developer
In our team, you will be responsible for:
- Working as part of the IT Development team to ensure that the IT development plan is delivered to ensure we are able to meet our business objectives
- Managing Senior Developers assigned to your team
- Taking a leading role in running the software development aspect of major IT projects
- Implementation of modern, scalable and high-quality back-end for digital business
- Consulting / proposing new solutions in line with business development
- Helping stakeholders to find best way to implement new solutions
- Evaluating technical solutions together with Software Architect and other stakeholders
- Working with colleagues across the IT Operations team to ensure the security of the IT estate across the Group
What do we need from you:
- At least 5+ years of software development experience in large projects, mostly backend (Java)
- Courage to continuously explore, learn, propose and implement new technologies
- Passionate about coding! Passionate about sharing your knowledge!
- Strong experience in Java Enterprise Edition, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, Git, Bitbucket, IntelliJ/Eclipse
- A deep understanding of agile development methods and continuous deployment
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL) is considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Markup Languages like XML and JSON, Service Oriented Architecture/Web Services - SOAP/REST
- Proven experience implementing large development projects
- Experience implementing coding standards and test driven development is key positive attitude
- Not be afraid to come up with own creative ideas
- Persistent in reaching goals and overcoming setbacks
- Very good command of English language (essential for daily communication with teams)
- Sense of humour! :)
