Motorola Solutions Polska is looking for open-minded professionals (Software Engineers or Senior Software Engineers) for the Licensing Platform Team. This group provides Flexera based Licensing solution for all technologies including but not limited to Astro, Dimetra and PS LTE.
Job Description
The candidate will work with experienced and mature agile team and be responsible for applying Software engineering methods for developing licensing solution based on Flexera provided products. Solution consists of licensing server and common library ready to use in many other Motorola Solutions products.
The responsibilities include: development of low level requirements, implementing functionality based on requirements, writing user manuals, unit testing, functional testing (manual and auto) and participating in system integration testing.
Project uses Agile methodologies
Basic Requirements
• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field or similar
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Practical knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems from user and administrator perspectives
• Familiarity with Linux shell(s), perl/bash
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies
• Ability to investigate and solve challenging technical issues
• Very good troubleshooting skills, an analytic approach to given tasks and problems
• Accuracy and precision
• Ability to collaborate with onsite and offsite teams
• English language skills at level allowing efficient communication
Familiarity with some of the following will be a plus:
• Practical knowledge of Java and/or C#
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (AngularJS) and other frontend technologies
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) based on Jenkins
• Experience with GIT, Stash and JIRA
