DESCRIPTION OF THE POSTE
The Tech team is currently building additional development teams in other BlaBlaCar cities than Paris, like for example Warsaw. The first step for our Warsaw Tech team is finding a local leader that has the experience, charisma and will to manage several developers.

After an onboarding period of a few weeks in Paris, your first mission will be to assist building a team of 2-4 developers. Once the team is up and running, your medium to long term mission will be, just like for the Paris' based Tech Managers, to accompany the team as a Scrum master and to manage its members. You will continuously remove obstacles and anticipate blockers to make our developers' lives easier, ensuring that our iterative development cycles run smooth. Together with the developers and technologies like PHP/Symfony2, ElasticSearch, or RabbitMQ you will help serving our huge community, our members will be your boss.

In a nutshell, your mission will be to help build the team, build the platform.

QUALIFICATIONS
Besides a natural obsession for managing web projects, you also have a solid knowledge of building i18ned applications and tools. You know the scrum guide by heart and have worked several years with agile methods such as scrum, either as a developer or as a Scrum master. You are an independant, communicative, high-energy leader and have a solid experience with managing developers. Being a team player by nature you are ready to quickly adapt to a fast-paced work environment within a growing team, while being fun & serious.

Last but not least you should have a favourite beer, a solid choice that you can explain and defend equally good in English or Polish, even after several of them.
