The UBS Poland Service Centre (UBS PSC) has provided services exclusively to UBS since it began operations in the first quarter of 2008. Our teams in Krakow collaborate across many UBS locations and business divisions working on projects with an international scope in finance, analytics, operations, risk, legal and compliance, IT, marketing and quality.
The role
You will be supporting primarily the Open Source Software (OSS) Competence Center. The Open Source team is responsible for detecting OSS used in UBS applications during development and managing the risk of OSS usage. Specialized Open Source scanning and governance software from an Industry Leading package vendor is used by the OSS Team. Your role in the Open Source team concentrates on "pushing the limits" of Open Source scanning agents in Agile developement environments which use todays most advanced Continuous Integration tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, TeamCity, Nexus and Sonar.
The position is located in Krakow Business Park in Zabierzow.
Wymagania
ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibility is to enhance and optimize Open Source scanning agents integration into the automated build servers of UBS development projects which use Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, TeamCity, Nexus and Sonar
Secondary responsibilities include providing support and maintenance services for the Open Source scanning and governance tools during absences or periods of high workload for a colleague.
Further secondary responsibilities include some development of reports or service extensions for IT Asset Management (=IT Inventory database)
Requirements
Bachelor or university degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Hands-on experience in configuring project build automation using Maven and (Subversion or Git-hub)
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience Java programming in a commercial environment
Working knowledge of Unix administration, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux and shell-scripting
Working knowledge of reporting tools and relational databases, preferably Oracle
Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint(Very strong) written and verbal communication in English
Working with international clientsAttention to details and ability to verify own work
Ability to efficiently search and analyze data in multiple sources
Team player who actively contributes
Additional assets
Experience with other continuous integration tools such as Ant, Jenkins, Artifactory, TeamCity, Nexus or Sonar
