Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot application issues/incidents
- Provision and maintenance of documentation on system configurations, databases, define methods of working and daily operational procedures.
- To follow defined incident and problem management procedures in order to log and track issues relating to past problems until satisfactory resolution.
- On-call responsibilities is required for this Role
- Perform the Incident root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with peers across countries on issue investigation
- Liaison with L1, L3, application development, networks, security, management systems, storage and database teams for resolving respective issues.
Wymagania
SkillsRequired- Minimum 3-5 years experience with Application support
- Oracle, SQL Query/Script experience.
- Scripting experience –Perl, Shell Script
- Monitoring tools – Control-M, Tivoli, Genos
- Application troubleshooting in a client server based environment
- Understanding of Messaging, Web logic/Tomcat application server
- Good Understanding of networking concepts and topologies.
- Good English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and within the team as well as with their peers all over global locations.
- A background in ITIL process is a key advantage.
