We are looking for a Front-End Website Developer or "Implementer" with experience in PSD to XHTML/HTML5/CSS conversions, as well as CMS integration. This is a part-time or contract to full-time position.
Remote applicants will be considered.
Required Experience:
At least 2 years experience with Conversion of PSD to XHTML/HTML5/CSS on top of CMS platforms.
Hand coding valid XHTML/HTML5 and CSS3
Advanced knowledge of JQuery, Javascript, etc...
Intermediate knowledge of PHP
Intermediate experience implementing various API's into front-end websites.
Coding for cross-browser compatibility
Architect responsive web designs following best practices for semantic markup
Other Requirements:
Familiarity with Photoshop (no design work required, but the ability to manipulate submitted designs)
Use of version control systems (ex. mercurial, git, etc.)
Willingness to follow in-house conventions for markup and CSS production
Willingness to learn the ins and outs of our CMS product, to ultimately be able to plug new sites into it.
Desire to stay current with evolving technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with front-end development frameworks, grids and CSS Preprocessors a big plus
