We are seeking a front-end web developer to join our small collaborative team. Your work will have a real impact on the success of our enterprise application. We are looking for a creative, strong designer who can multi-task and learn quickly in a large, fast-paced development environment. The ideal candidate likes to look at the big picture: they are focused on analytics, prioritizing the needs of the business, and always thinking of the end users.
Our software team is responsible for the development and maintenance of enterprise applications in hte insurance industry, including back-office, agent and customer-facing websites that support a growing global network of users. The candidate for this position will work alongside senior back-end developers and will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to the product.
Responsibilities:
Build CSS3/HTML5 for our new MVC enterprise front-end solution
Collaborate with senior development team to build project requirements and create interactive mockups/prototypes for proposed applications and interfaces
Work with back-end developers to make sure UIs are communicating effectively with the back-end structure
Document design choices and code changes
Work with the management team on analyzing issues and deficiencies of current systems, and provide innovative solutions to address the problems
Learn new applications by quickly developing a high level of functional expertise in relation to our business and applications
Experience with Inspinia Template a plus
