An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and exceptionally talented
Senior QA Engineer
to work for a prestigious network data analytic company in their newly established office in Krakow, Poland. It is a dynamic, profitable, well-funded, rapidly growing company that makes sense of the world's network data.
At the moment, the company is expanding their test engineering team which is responsible for its high performance, real-time analysis products, utilising the latest software and hardware technologies. The team delivers innovative, automated testing solutions to verify the accuracy, performance, functionality, stress, resilience and use case validation of the company's products.
You will be working in a team that are passionate about quality. You will also be responsible for designing comprehensive test and automation strategies that ensure our industry leading product is high quality.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the quality of industry leading financial and enterprise core product features
Working within an agile software
development life-cycle to test new product features
Using scripting and programming skills to automate tests using python
Designing test strategies using Test/QA best practice
Requirements:
BSc. in Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years relevant industry experience
Strong scripting/ programming skills using Python or similar (e.g. Perl, Java)
Ease with Linux/Unix OSes
Good knowledge of manual and automated testing best practice
Excellent problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
Good working knowledge of IP networking protocols and systems
Excellent verbal and written English-language communication skills
Desirable:
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP highly desirable
Experience developing test automation frameworks
Experience in manual and automated testing on web applications
Experience with selenium web-driver
