JavaScript Fullstack Developer

We are Schibsted Tech Polska - part of Schibsted Media Group, two main pillars of which are media houses and online classifieds. Almost all of our employees are software engineers – and part of long-term development teams working for one of our 19 partner companies in Norway and Sweden. Our mission is to help our partner companies to succeed in their digital transformation.

Currently we are looking for a JS Fullstack Developer to join a team working on a biggest Norwegian news platform - VG. The team is responsible for the main news page, video streaming services and mobile applications. Wymagania

Requirements:

• Experience with JavaScript (at least 3 years)
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with at least one HTTP framework like Koa, Hapi, Express
• Experience with build tools: Gulp/Grunt, Webpack
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySql, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and caching
• Experience with working with RESTful services
• Experience with testing frameworks eg. Mocha, Jasmine, Tap
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools
• Experience with Docker (developing and deploying dockerized apps)
• Experience with Git (github account welcomed)
• Very good English – both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of ES2015
• Previous experience with either JS on frontend (with React, Redux, Backbone or others)
• Previous experience with PHP on backend
• Any devops skills with focus on application performance
• Proactive approach, creativity, Lean mindset
• Creative ideas and curiosity about new trends, technologies, services
