Key duties:• Develop primarily user-facing features and interfaces through the whole product lifecycle, from early definition and analysis to test and customer installation.
• Transform internal data models into human friendly information handling
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is properly validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members, typically interactions designers and back-end developers, as well as stakeholders
• Stay informed of advances in interactive techniques, technologies and methods, and adapting to rapidly evolving industry space Previous experience, skills and qualities:
• Bachelor's Degree in Interaction/Graphic Design, MA/MS in computer science, human computer interaction, industrial engineering, cognitive science, or related field,
• 3+ years of industry work experience in Frontend driven development experience including proven experience with different user interaction deliverables
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Gerrit as well as ARM solutions.
• Experience of working in Agile environments,
• Creativity and great attention to details & design,
• HTML/CSS knowledge and found understanding of web development,
• Strong and clear communicator both internally and externally,
• Demonstrated and quantified successes applying principles of user centric design methodologies
