Your Team:
You will be part of the Core Engineering team based in Wroclaw. The team is a significant IT Infrastructure organization within UBS, driving IT change and innovation to its global customer base influencing the daily lives of internal employees, but also external Bank clients. You will work in a small team, developing and leveraging Tableau Business Intelligence tools in driving quality and financial transparency. The role will be aligned to the Strategy Execution organization – a lean team supporting the Core Engineering organization in driving the overall strategy and execution.
Your experience and skills:
You have:
- University degree or equivalent
- Several years of Tableau experience with Dashboard & Report Visualization
- Experience with connecting to multiple data sources in Tableau (Data Warehouse, Cube, Excel)
- Sound understanding of BI Best Practices, relational structures, dimensional data modelling (OLAP, OLTP, etc.), structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques
- Experience designing and developing dashboards & reports with Tableau
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Cube structures
- Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills including pivot tables/graphing
- Basic T-SQL writing skills with understanding of joins and filters
- Preferably but not a must - experience within the Finance /Banking industry

- Fluent in English
- Passionate about data analytics and visual diagrams that simplify trends and general understanding
- Able to solve complex technical problems with little guidance
- Able to mentor, train and support less experienced Tableau super users
- Preferably but not a must - Tableau Server or Desktop certified
