Most of the time you will be responsible for developing new features in Positionly and adding new things to the existing codebase; at the same time, now and then you will have to track down, replicate, and fix some tricky bugs. We try to keep our code tidy, every developer writes their own automated tests (we love rspec), and we encourage each other to improve our software as well the development process. At Positionly, you will have chance to advance your career as a backend developer and work on a real-life long-term product.

What do you need to succeed:- Some love for ruby
- Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails (>= 4)
- Knowledge of databases (in particular PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with http protocol (cookies, sessions and all that)
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of English
- Hunger for more
- Knowledge of other programming language(s), redis, elasticsearch, NASA technologies is a plus
- Your own personal senior developer who will walk you through our application in the first months
