Software Engineer in Test
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related program of study or equivalent work experience
• Two years of experience verifying and validating software code to improve the overall quality of the product
• Knowledge of software test methods and techniques; experience with the visual testing method is preferred
• Experience with testing web-based applications and / or web-application servers
• Experience building automated test scripts and/or programs using tools (e.g. Selenium, Jenkins, Soap UI)
• Familiarity with one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Groovy, Perl, PHP, or Python
• Previous experience in testing for products built in Java, Javascript, (REST, Web Services)
• Familiarity with RDBMS is highly desirable
• Experience in building automation frameworks
• Experience with manual (experiential) end-to-end testing
• Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
• Possess the ability to be process-driven with an ability to focus on details
• Experience with Rally or other Agile Management tools, preferred
• Team-oriented individual, positive attitude, energetic, result & delivery oriented, keen interest on quality and intense attention to detail
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
Software Engineer
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related program of study or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Expertise in data structure, algorithm, operating system and other fundamental Computer Science concepts
• Strong command of Java, Scala, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and experience in SPA frameworks (React, Redux, Java Spring, JAX-RS, Angular, Node)
• Understanding of isomorphic JavaScript and application of it in Client and Server side elements
• Strong CS and OOP fundamentals
• Experience working with Git, TDD, CI frameworks, Mocha, Maven, Grunt, Nod.js, responsive design and RESTful APIs
• Passion for creating aesthetically pleasing, high performing, best in class user experiences
• Knowledge and experience building Web services or REST
• Experience designing and building frameworks
• Ability to quickly learn and integrate with new technologies
• Documented contributions to open source technologies is an advantage
• Individual must have ability and desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members
