Your Job We are currently searching a Lead Developer (m/f) who actively supports our dynamic team in Berlin in fulfilling its mission – becoming the leading online grocery delivery service on the international market. You would be in charge of your project's success from initiating, prioritizing and tracking the best technical implementation methods, to designing work flows which meet budget, quality and time targets. Your main responsibility is the supervision of your, autonomously built up, highly professional development team in planning, tracking and executing the system architecture and developing prototypes and landing pages. Hand in hand with your team, you develop multiple high-traffic E-commerce sites. You have an extensive knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented programming of software. As you love challenges, you are receptive for new software tools and have the courage to try Extreme Programming and Agile Modeling. With your profound knowledge of system administration, you actively support your team.Your Profile
You have an outstanding university degree in a technical subject and several years' experience in a lead developer position. You have a comprising knowledge of programming with PHP (you have built large scale applications), Symfony2 and MySQL data bases. You are a coder at heart - you would love to do more coding yourself, but accept that you can bring most value by helping others to excel. You have strong problem solving skills and ideally you know about the complexities of E-commerce. You are a fast thinker, hands on manager and strong communicator; you think and act like an entrepreneur. Fluent English language skills complete your profile.
