Job description:This Specialist will act as a second level support analyst for any WebSphere related problems, implement changes on request by the customer or as a part of the problem resolution, interact with engineering team to ensure proper communication of problem resolution results to the customer. Responsibilities:
• Install and configure Websphere and related technologies including Websphere Portal, WCM, and IBM Forms Server in development and test environments
• Provide production support for applications hosted on WebSphere platform
• Document build and configuration procedures as well as other documentation required to maintain the application environments
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to the application server platform
• Perform administrative tasks such as maintenance updates, configuration backups, restarts
• Migrate code and manage deployments in multiple environments
• Maintain platform security - create/manage logins and access permissions
• Perform application performance tuning and optimization
Main fields of expertise:
• At least 2 years of active experience with configuring, installing and administration of WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere based products
• 2+ years of active experience as Linux/Unix administrator in corporate environment Experience in managing WebSphere Products on AIX would be an advantage
