The role
You will be part of Open Source Software (OSS) Competence Center. The team is responsible for advising application developers in finding and selecting OSS components that meet UBS requirements, automated early detection of OSS components during development, and managing the risk of non-approved OSS components usage. The position is located in Krakow Business Park in Zabierzow.

Wymagania
ResponsibilitiesAdvise project teams in identification and selection of OSS, as well as how to reduce OSS risks and achieve compliance
Manage approval processes involving Subject Matter Experts on a global scale
Onboarding new projects under OSS governance
First-line categorization of automated scanning results, including handling of false positives
Manual data entry of OSS components into governance tool
Requirements
Understanding of programming principles, particularly in Java and C++ languages
Bachelor or university degree
Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English
High attention to details and ability to verify own work
Ability to efficiently search data in multiple sources, analytical skills, and solution seeking attitude
Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
Additional assets:
Hands-on experience in programming will be a big advantage
Experience with open source software with understanding of middleware and libraries
Exposure to- and affinity with software license agreements and legal consequences
Knowledge of German language
