Assistance with training the administrators and users of the system
Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by other teams to ensure that they conform to the Commission requirements and methodology
Participation in meetings with the Commission
Other precisions
The candidates must have a very good working knowledge of English.
Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
The work will be carried out at the European Commission's premises in Brussels or Luxembourg during the EC's working hours.

Wymagania
Knowledge and skills In depth knowledge of Java/J2EE with Spring/Hibernate as frameworks
Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tiers internet applications
Good knowledge of modeling tools (preferably UML)
Knowledge of software development methodologies (preferably RUP)
Good knowledge of relational database systems (preferably Oracle)
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication
Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
Education and experience
Minimum 6 years of experience as Analyst-Programmer
Minimum 10 years of relevant studies and experience (combined) after secondary school
