Responsibilities:
Assist in new feature development for: integrations, website functionality, GP Dynamics, GP CRM, MudCats, and others.
Assist in keeping the network (and the services that the network provides) up and running smoothly; includes monitoring the network to spot problems as soon as possible, ideally before users are affected.
Provide support to web developers (backing up, restoring, updating databases and web platforms).
Responsible for maintaining all internally controlled applications to ensure related databases are available with minimal user outages of production systems.
Reduce bottlenecks for performance within all applications.
Develop and implement database backup and recovery plans for all production database including local and remote databases.
Deploy test environments for developers, Business Analyst and other users from production environments.
Utilize scripting and other automations to reduce the manual processes related to databases.
Maintain the overall integrity and quality of the databases, including regular data improvement business processes and management of code values increase efficiency and enhance performance.
Provide support and training in use of the application, including orientation for all new staff and specialized training in response to changing roles, business processes and database functionality
Work with help desk to provide technical assistance to users and troubleshoot and resolve application and database related problems
Monitoring database activity and growth and ensure proper capacity planning is implemented.
Research and implement new technologies to improve database functionality.
