We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer to join our team.
Remote/working from home opportunities are available for this position.
What You Will Be Doing :
Build scalable, lean, JavaScript web applications using ECMA2015 and TypeScript.
Create unit tests against your code to make sure that it never fails.
Consume REST and SOAP Web API Services.
The Front-End Web Developer will work in a continuously delivered, fast paced, environment.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver web features built to specifications.
Participate in Scrum Agile Development.
Become a JavaScript and TypeScript guru, if you aren't already one!
Participate in design and execution of A/B experiments to optimize user experience.
Qualifications :
3 or more years of web development experience developing front-end web applications.
JavaScript guru; experience with compilers such as TypeScript or CoffeeScript a plus.
Proficient in web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS, Responsive Design, XHR & DOM, and debugging tools.
Knowledge of RESTful principles and design practices, including HTTP, SOAP, and WSDL.
Enthusiastic about writing clean code and implementing object-oriented design principles.
Ability to create and implement automated unit tests.
Test- and/or Behavioral-Driven Design a plus.
Desire to be a self-starter by taking the initiative to get stuff done!
Comfortable with a team-based work structure; thrives in a flexible and fun atmosphere and can easily adapt to changing situations. (There's never a dull moment!)
Eager to stay up to date with technology systems and welcomes the chance to learn something new.
Able to clearly and effectively communicate with others.
Sense of humor a plus.
