Tasks and Responsibilities:
Plan, implement and support Telephony related technologies;
Provide support for the deployment of infrastructure initiatives and projects;
Provide daily operational support for implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Cisco servers and gateways running telephony services;
Day to day management of Enterprise VoIP/SIP environment to maintain service level;•
Manages ZF TRW hosted Telephony service (Cisco Based) in Europe;
Manages day to day ticket queue, troubleshoots user issues and completes user requests. Analyzes request and incident reports and identifies trends;
Maintain the appropriate relationships with 3rd party vendors and evaluate vendor hardware, software, and communications products in order to provide recommendations for purchases according to corporate objectives;
Contribute to the C&C (Communications & Collaboration) infrastructure roadmap that meets operational goals;
Provide project management oversight to infrastructure initiatives and participate in IS & business projects;
Implements technology and infrastructure changes;
Support identification and collection of metrics and performance reporting processes;
Participate in rotating 'on-call' schedule within team Knowledge and Background:
Master's degree in computer science or a related field;
Experience in minimum one of following fields: Networks / telecommunications / information technology; • Strong knowledge of telephony services, IPBX and VoIP technology; • Experienced Cisco Call manager engineer; • Good knowledge of project and business process management; • Good understanding of LAN and WAN environment; • Cisco certification would an asset
