BrowseLabs (www.browselabs.com) is an international incubator, founded by successful Entrepreneurs from San Francisco and Los Angeles. We are NOT a software house...we think that is boring ;-). We build cutting edge mobile and web applications to for our company, not for 3rd party customers. We then use our skills and knowledge to put millions of users on these applications, and launch them GLOBALLY.

We are currently looking for Front End Developer that meet the following criteria:



  •  3+ years of building client based web applications with Javascript, possibly Backbone, Ember, or Knowckout, and a broad interest and experience in scripting languages
  •  API experience, including integration and API design are a must
  •  Very deep knowledge of Javascript and experience with modern JS frameworks (Backbone, Ember.js, Knockout, Angular)
  •  Be familiar or at least not scared off by cutting edge technologies such as node.js, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
  •  Strong UX skills, with a talent for interface design is a big plus, but isn't needed
  •  Big plus: HTML5 Development; Twitter Bootstrap; Grunt; REST Design; Websockets (Socket.io)
  •  Nice to have but not necessary: Node.js; TDD/BDD (Jasmin, Simon); Server Side skills (Nginx, PHP)
  •  Passion for Open Source technologies and active participation in the Open Source community should be a given (Github account?)
Key Responsibilities:
  •  Work with Product Designers to implement, collaborate and execute core offerings
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Experience in designing/extending APIs, in large & complex code bases
  • Work on bug fixing
  • Collaborate with other team members to incorporate team innovations
  • Lead end-to-end deployment process including credentials, adhoc builds and provisioning profiles.
